EKPK Cluster

Clusters are local concentrations of interconnected businesses and institutions in a particular field. Clusters include a group of interlinked industries and other entities important for economic competition.

Renewable Energy Sources

Renewable Energy Sources (RES) use effectively natural resources such as solar radiation, wind, rain, sea waves, and geothermal heat, which are naturally renewed. Renewable energy source technologies include solar energy, wind energy, water energy, biomass, and, ultimately, biofuels in transport.

Energy Efficiency

The expected lack of available energy sources for affordable prices, together with the global warming, is an issue that significantly determines further development of the mankind. The cheapest way of resolving the lack of energy is the improvement of the use of energy – an increase in energy efficiency.

Environment and Economy

The environmental economy represents relations between the quality of the environment and the behaviour of entities of the economic scene. The key question why a certain economic system generates causes that lead to degradation or improvement of the environment.
